Study impressions will also be necessary on occasion. Then we can give you a quote, or even several if different treatment options are possible. You will be billed for a simple consultation.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Quote for remote patients<\/h2>\n\n<p>To send you a quote, we need a <strong>recent panoramic radiograph<\/strong> by email. A <strong>3D scan<\/strong> will often be required.<\/p>\n\n<p>We can do it for free in our office. If you prefer not to travel, we can send you a prescription. The scanner costs <strong>about \u20ac200<\/strong> (not covered by social security). We will help you send the files correctly.<\/p>\n\n<p>If there are several treatment options, we will call you to discuss them. You will receive a <strong>coded quote<\/strong> for your mutual insurance company.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reimbursements<\/h2>\n\n<p>The reimbursement has two parts:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Social Security:<\/strong> Dental care in Spain for those insured in France is reimbursed as if it were in France. More info at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ameli.fr\/pyrenees-orientales\/assure\/droits-demarches\/europe-international\/protection-sociale-etranger\/soins-programmes-etranger\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ameli.fr<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mutual insurance:<\/strong> They will reimburse you when they receive the Social Security reimbursement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">In practice<\/h2>\n\n<p>We will give you everything for the reimbursement:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>S3125C Form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Paid invoice<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proof of payment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>X-rays before and after<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Note<\/h2>\n\n<p><strong>Sant\u00e9clair<\/strong> may tell you that they do not accept foreign quotes. That does not mean that your mutual insurance company will not reimburse you.
